if you look behind the brakes on the altima, you can see the little plastic insert for where a spindle can go thru. you could take that out and set it up for RWD. And, although the center tunnel doesnt look tall enough for a drive shaft, let alone a transmission, when you pull the cover for the shifter, you will notice that there is like 3-4 inches of dead space. Could cut that out and have plenty of room. This is probably why Nissan has decided to spawn everything off the altima.
